"For my soul delighteth in the scriptures..."

So I guess I talk about church alot huh? Well I am really enjoying 2 Nephi 4 at the moment! Just want to keep reading the same chapter! I think it says a lot about Nephi and the characteristics he had! How cool would it be to meet these Prophets of old?

Well in a nutshell, and this is just my own interpretation... Nephi is talking about how he is basically a mortal with faults and weaknesses, like us all, he is'nt perfect but unlike some, he realises this! I think he is also talking about how blessed we are, through the mercy and love of the Lord, so why should we dwell in our afflictions when we have been given much? So then I think people can fall into 3 categories, once they have that realisation... You either realise that you have weaknesses and do nothing about it, or you realise and want to do something about it, then there is the next step, actually doing something about it! So what Nephi does in this chapter, is he is saying rather than put our trust in the arm of flesh, so in other men, put your trust in the Lord! I also think its really nice, because its almost like a decleration from Nephi to the Lord that he will praise him forever!
My fave part is from verses 18-35! Its like so poetic too... I could go on, but ahhhh... I have more blogging to do ;D
